One of our favorite annual festivities is the colorful, steeped in rich tradition, Mardi Gras carnival. Feasting on rich, fatty foods prior to the Lenten sacrifice of fasting, and celebrating life through costume has been a tradition in the United States since the late 17th century.
Although we are unable to host a large party this year, we will still do our best to offer as much celebration as we can through our food and beverage offerings in the form of a jazz brunch (loosely based on the jazz brunch of Commander’s Palace).
We will not have live music, but we will have the following specials:
FOOD - Beignets, Shrimp Étouffée, Smoked Chicken + Andouille Sausage Gumbo
COCKTAIL - Hurricane, Sazerac
BEER - Hurricane Sour
